What is it like to work at your company in terms of your culture?
At Continuum, we subscribe to a work hard, play hard philosophy. In our Boston office, employees often let off steam by playing a round of Ping Pong or visiting our in-house keg and popcorn machine. Interdepartmental socialization is also highly encouraged in each of our offices. Our CEO, Michael George, has even instituted weekly Pizza Thursdays for lunch catch-ups with one another.
“In our effort to make Continuum a great place to work, we are creating more social times for people to just spend time together. These events are great opportunities to get to know one another at a better, and more personal level.” ~Michael George, CEO of Continuum~

Are there any favorite activities that the employees do outside of the office?
Last summer, our Boston office hit the high seas, cruising the Boston Harbor, mingling with co-workers and family, while admiring the historic city’s skyline. We also like to give back to our community. We completed and contributed to the Ice Bucket Challenge to strike out ALS, challenging our CEO who accepted, dressed in full suit attire. Additionally, we’re committed to healthy living- we recently participated in a ContinuuFit challenge which involved a highly competitive 45 day activity tracker challenge between each of our US offices.
Are there any fun facts or unique stories that you can share about Continuum or individuals that work there?
In July 2012, we established the Continuum Veterans Foundation to provide financial support to local and national charities focusing on helping veterans find jobs in IT. Continuum is the sole donor to the Continuum Veterans Foundation with a percentage of revenue from our Service Desk going to the Foundation. We also provide preferential consideration in hiring veterans at the company.
One such employee, Joel Kennedy, Director of Technical Account Management, was recently honored with the Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for his service and commitment to giving back to veterans.
What TV or movie would best describe the working environment and employees at Continuum?
What we found out at Continuum is that each one of us is a marketer, a developer, an engineer, a sales person, an accountant, an executive, and a Bostonian. Does that answer your question?
Yep, you guessed it. “The Breakfast Club” best defines our working environment. While we may belong to our own departments, we’re a ragtag bunch of dedicated employees that work smarter, not harder, for our partners. Although we all have to go to work every day, like the 80s brat pack, we find new ways to amuse ourselves and bond over our shared growth…just without all of the hallway sliding.
Do you have any unique benefits or perks?
We offer medical, dental, vision, short-term & long-term disability insurance, basic life & personal accident insurance, supplemental life insurance, a 401K plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and flexible spending accounts (FSAs).
What’s on tap or in your fridge?
Right now, we have Downeast's summer cider on tap in our keg, but it’s always changing. You could be next to decide!
