Who you are:
Help us share the story of our diverse developer community and our growing Developer Platform with the world. In this role, you will inspire developers to build with the Twitter API. You’ll champion the Twitter Developer Platform brand internally and externally, scoping and executing on go-to-market strategies for programs and campaigns that build developer satisfaction with the platform. You will drive participation across our developer community and encourage the adoption of prioritized use cases.
You'll collaborate closely with our teammates in developer relations, communications, and marketing to craft compelling narratives and nurture the public conversation within our developer ecosystem. You’ll also team up with agency partners to deliver value and insights and extend the impact of our team.
You'll have an immediate impact as you build and implement paths to amplify and drive engagement with programs and content to inspire, educate, and connect with developers. You’ll experiment with and optimize channel strategy, establishing best practices for the team and reaching developers where they are.
Our Developer Platform team works across multiple time zones with major hubs in Boulder, NYC, London, Seattle, and SF. We also have a growing number of team members who work from home and we manage this with asynchronous collaboration, regular virtual team meetings, and occasional full-team in-person gatherings.
4+ years of relevant work experience marketing brands, campaigns, and/or programs
Experience partnering closely with developer relations, marketing, and other cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization
Excellent communications, including writing and public speaking
Passion for innovative software technology and an understanding of how developers use our API and tools to achieve business growth.
Experience working in technology, infrastructure, or platform companies is preferred
Experience in channel strategy development is preferred
Experience in developer marketing or developer relations is preferred
