As a Data Governance and Quality Analyst for Bullhorn, you will primarily focus on our Data Quality program. The hire will be responsible for analyzing data and ensuring that it complies with our Data Quality framework. The right candidate will work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization to measure the quality of our datasets across multiple data domains and help monitor compliance.
The ideal candidate must be self-directed, comfortable supporting the needs of multiple teams, and possess strong technical acumen. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of identifying and addressing long-term and short-term data quality remediations and being able to present the information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A typical day will include:

Create, document, maintain, and oversee data governance standards, policies, and solutions.

Perform data analysis to identify and document data issues and work with business stewards to understand the related business processes.

Execute the resolution of data integrity gaps by collaborating with business and technical stewards to address the issues and improve internal processes.

Monitor implemented data governance solutions for continued adherence to data governance standards and processes.

Partner with business stewards to define the data standards, certify data assets and maintain the data assets, business glossary, and asset relationships documentation.

Promote a culture of data governance by developing a partnership with data stewards to promote data governance best practices.

Develop KPIs to monitor and track success.

You have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.

You have at least two (2) years of experience in a Data Governance or Project Management role.

You possess an understanding of data governance and data quality.

You have experience managing data governance projects.

You are proficient in SQL for data analysis/profiling.

You have experience in process improvement and change management.

You possess strong organizational and prioritization skills.

You can articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

You have excellent problem-solving abilities; apply good judgment.

You can work effectively with all levels of management and staff.

You can negotiate and influence.

You are familiar with Agile methodology for development.

Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms like Snowflake, Big Query, or Azure Synapse.
