VentureFizz Has a New Look - A Letter to Our Readers

Since starting VentureFizz in 2009, our team has worked everyday to be the best possible source for technology, entrepreneurship and career inspiration in the Greater Boston area. We’ve spent six incredible years telling the stories of successful leaders and fast-growing organizations, helping people make connections with our Job Board and Networking Calendar, and most recently offering a behind-the-scenes look at the area’s hottest companies through BIZZpages.

Today, we’re sharing an important piece of news about one growing Boston startup that’s particularly near and dear to the VentureFizz team’s hearts - ours.

We’re thrilled to announce the new VentureFizz! Don’t worry, we’re not changing the good stuff. You’ll still find top-notch blog posts, BIZZpages, the most active Job Board in Boston tech and a continuously updated Networking Calendar and Deals section.

What we are changing is the look and feel of the site. We rebuilt VentureFizz from the bottom up, making it much easier for you to discover the people, companies, job posts, and events you want to read about.

The site is also now ready to support a significant expansion of our contributed blog post program. We’re opening the door for more people to share and write about their expertise on VentureFizz. We’ll have content from executives and founders, whose insights and experiences will ultimately help fuel the growth of your business or career. If you’re interested in contributing to VentureFizz on topics related to careers, technology or entrepreneurship, please visit http://venturefizz.com/contact

As we begin the next chapter of VentureFizz, we wanted to take a moment to thank the community for all of your help and support. In six years we went from being an unknown content aggregator to a media technology company with a rapidly growing reader base across our website and weekly VentureFizz email newsletter. Our Job Board is the most active in Boston-tech with more than 1,000 postings, and we have over 150 companies sharing their stories and culture through our BIZZpages.

When I started VentureFizz in 2009, my friends thought I was crazy for bootstrapping a community website focused on the Boston tech and entrepreneur community with a Job Board, particularly given the economic conditions. After running VentureFizz for the last six years, I can safely say that spending my days finding new ways to promote Boston as a great place to start a company or build a career in technology is one of the best and most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made.

Thank you for reading and for all of your support!
