The mission of the Epsilon product team
So at Epsilon, our vision is to empower each person to create and control trusted connections with brands that matter most of them, right. And the product team plays a key role in this because we develop the engine behind those connections, right. And we do it in a way that preserves an open and balanced marketplace. from a product perspective, we cover both martech and adtech. And we have a very full and very comprehensive suite of services, which I think is unrivaled in the industry. Right? When you think about our marketing technology capabilities that we have, we're in the market of providing clean rooms, we provide customer data platforms, for our clients, we run some of the largest loyalty programs on the planet, and we have a full email service platform, providing, you know, marketing messages and email and SMS to them to complement that we have a full advertising technology platform, right that comes DECOs really focused on people based marketing and marketing against those people from data onboarding, all the way through activation, through multi touch attribution, and measurement.
The culture at Epsilon and within their product team
So when I think about building product, right, it really takes a village to bring offerings to market in a way that it really, that matters and drives results for our clients, right? And product is at the center of that village. Right, we're leading the conversation on what is the best thing to build, and that will actually delight our customers and drive business income. Right? For that reason, you know, there's two key components of our product team culture that are really at the heart, right? One is innovation, right. And the second one is, outcomes. One thing that I love about Epsilon and the culture here at Epsilon is that we always put people first right, both in our solutions that we're actually delivering, and for our employees, and everything we we do is done as a team. And I really live with integrity and accountability. So it's really about teamwork and working well with others. The other thing that I like about the outside culture, is we different from other big tech companies that we walked the walk on work life balance, right. You know, and I, this is one of the things I really leaned into when coming here. Because, you know, we care about what our product leaders and what all our employees actually achieve over how many hours you work, or how many hours you've put on the clock, right? Yeah, so we like taking time off, we like getting the results that you need, right? It's there.
Why product managers should consider Epsilon
So I think there's no better place to cut your teeth as a product manager, or a product leader than it so but we strongly believe that great product managers act as the CEO of the business, right? You work with other functional teams, you work with all the cross functional people that are routed, but you are the person that I'm going to look to as a product leader, as product manager to make the business decisions on behalf of the product. Right and on behalf of the business to drive results in the short term and in the long term. Right. So that's really kind of like how I think about it. At Epsilon, I think you also had the opportunity to be part of a cross functional team of engineering analytics, media and sales professionals, where you actually get to dig into tough industry challenges, and create differentiated products, right? We like building products and like shipping new product. We like working on tough industry challenges. So I think that's another reason why you want to come and Upsilon we want you working on the biggest problems and working with some of the biggest brands to kind of like move the needle. I would also say that not only is Epsilon A great place for you to begin and grow as an ideal product management careers failure and entry level product manager you're getting your first real product management job here. It's also a great place for great product managers who've already cut their teeth elsewhere to come and flourish. Right in managing and delivering against product management does
