What you'll do as a Business Systems Junior Analyst:
- Analyze current business processes, understand end-to-end data flow, and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
- Develop detailed requirements (business, user, process, system requirements – functional and non-functional) and establish traceability to the business vision. Manage the requirements throughout the project lifecycle by establishing agreements and serving as a liaison between business users and the project team
- Facilitate discovery sessions and business process workshops. Be able to diagram and elaborate on current & future state application workflows in detail
- Act as the project manager for implementation of the solution – identify stakeholders, risk identification and mitigation, communication, define and drive schedules, escalate internally and externally (as appropriate)
- Help provide 1st level support for the Business Systems Team for incoming requests
- Monitor end user-submitted issues and progress by the production support team
- Help develop and maintain technical documentation and release notes
- Help document all changes to applications per internal controls
- Provide responsive and quality customer service to clients; respond to, evaluate, and prioritize incoming requests to support clients’ needs
- Utilizing analytical skills to diagnose and resolve client questions or problems in the areas of system configurations/setup, business system functionality, and bugs/enhancements
- Interact with clients to help troubleshoot and resolve product problems or issues.
Qualifications/Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- 1 to 2 years of application requirements gathering and design
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Multitasking, ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
- Ability to see the big picture and how the parts fit together
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in working with personnel at all levels of the organization
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US $65,000 to $82,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant. Bitsight also offers a competitive benefits package, including but not but limited to medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement.
