ATK is on a mission to find an enthusiastic and dedicated Production/Equipment Coordinator to join our TV/Video department. In this role, you will manage the production equipment used by in-house staff, maintain studio space, and prepare logistics for a fast-paced production schedule.
This role requires extensive hands-on experience arranging remote shoot logistics and managing film and video equipment, including: cameras, lenses, audio, grip, and lighting gear. Experience in an equipment rental facility is a plus. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain all cameras, media cards, grip, and lighting gear to ensure good working order
- Organize and manage equipment storage rooms
- Coordinate with producers on selecting, reserving, and setting up equipment
- Proactively manage reservations and resolve any booking issues
- Assemble gear packages for video shoots, including check-in and check-out
- Be available to assist or advise producers in event of any equipment malfunctions
- Maintain audio recording booth and reservations
- Keep cameras and other equipment updated and in good working order
- Coordinate with rental houses on gear rentals
- Lead training workshops on best practices for safety and operation
- General set maintenance and management as requested
- Be on call to assist on TV shoots during filming
- Assist with shoots and voice-over recordings as needed
- Book: hotel, rental vehicle, and airfare for production travel
- Assist with special projects as needed
Additional Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a video equipment rental facility or similar
- Deep knowledge of the production process, safety guidelines, and best practices
- Experience with Sony camera systems

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
