We're a team of passionate people creating and selling pop up greeting cards and bouquets and houseplants. It's a new, environmentally friendly category, it kind of bridges the market between greeting cards and fresh cut flowers, which is really exciting. And we also plant a tree for every product we sell. And we're partner with 1% for the planet. So I think that's the mission that, you know, a lot of people can connect with.
What they look for in a candidate
You know, we're really passionate team. So we're looking for people who have a passion to improve on a product or create a customer journey or any anything that we're working on right now, that has a history of like overcoming challenges that might be similar to ours. Crime primarily in you know, a DTC company would be great like a product company, or company that's at a similar stage as ours. That's, that's also really important to find.
FreshCut Paper's interview process
It would start with phone screen with our talent acquisition, and then one to two on site interviews where you'd meet with the hiring manager, and then some teammates and potential teammates for the role as well as someone else who might collaborate with on a different teams, we work cross functionally all the time, and you'd meet with me to really get to know the culture hear, you know, as much as we're trying to get to know you, we really want you to get to know us and understand our culture and make sure it's a good fit for you. And then we'd follow up with, like a skills test, depending on the role, perhaps a case study or create a brief.
How to stand out
We're really looking to get to know your personality, something you could talk about that would really speak to us and our values is risk taking, that's one of our values. So you could tell us about a time that you took a risk and a role and whether it paid off or not, even if it didn't, and what you learn from it. Another value of ours is collaboration. So what you might have worked on with a team building a team overcoming something together, we would love to hear about that.
Why they should be on your radar
Yeah, we're at a really exciting stage in the company, just a little over two years in the market. And we're, we're experienced really healthy growth in all of our channels of sale. So that's been really exciting. We've been very intentional in our growth, so that we protect our culture and our employee experience here. It's really important to us so and we think that that would be important to someone coming on board as well. And it's really fulfilling to be part of a founder led company where your voice can be heard in any aspect of the company, regardless of your role, whether it be product development, or process improvement or even, you know, input on a team outing, we want to hear from everybody. It's just really important to us on our values that there's full collaboration.
