About the Role:
A core component to Nayyas success is our ability to engage and communicate effectively with our users, especially during Open Enrollment season. As the email marketing specialist, you will play a critical role in driving and scaling this strategy at Nayya.
In this role, you will build and deploy optimized multi-step email journeys to users. You will measure performance, identify areas of opportunity, and run and analyze A/B tests. You will partner with our existing email marketing specialist to tackle different segments of users and use cases across the entirety of Open Enrollment season.
Responsibilities:
- Following a step-by-step guide, manage a segment of customer email program deployments from beginning to end.
- Edit and schedule user journeys in Braze, maintaining a calendar of deployments.
- Proactively communicate with members of the team on any areas of confusion or blockers hindering your success.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise in Braze independently or with minimal assistance
- Govern list management, including list health, segmentation, reputation, and growth.
- Analyze and report on the results of A/B tests.
- Meet regularly with key marketing stakeholders to collaborate on a shared email deployment calendar.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of professional marketing experience with 2+ years of performance marketing experience.
- Expert-level experience with email marketing platform Braze is required.
- Experience in segmentation and personalization of campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with product, design, marketing and client-facing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking abilities.
- Nice to have: B2B2C experience, startup experience
Success looks like
- Within 10 days, youll understand the Nayya product, use-cases, and our goals around Open Enrollment. Through trainings, youll have a clear understanding of the steps involved to deploy user journeys in Braze. Youll contribute to the documentation and QA-testing of trainings.
- Within 20 days, youll have met with key Customer Success and Marketing team members to better understand the cross-functional requirements and Open Enrollment seasonal goals.
- Within 30 days, youll be actively managing a segment of customer email programs, with minimal oversight. Youll meet regularly with key members of the marketing team to report on progress.
The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
